Avett Brothers + Charles Wesley Godwin

With a history dating back nearly 25 years, a slew of Grammy nominations and much acclaim from the Americana Music Honors & Awards, The Avett Brothers are one of the leading acts in American folk rock today. The group has performed in Jackson Hole before. Originally from North Carolina, brothers Scott and Seth Avett have guided the group through 11 studio albums, including their most recent 2024 self-titled disc, displaying an eclectic sound that the San Francisco Chronicle praised for blending the “heavy sadness of Townes Van Zandt, the light pop concision of Buddy Holly, the tuneful jangle of the Beatles, the raw energy of the Ramones.”

Country-folk musician Charles Wesley Godwin hails from West Virginia and has released three studio albums, all heavily influenced by the likes of Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, John Prine, Chris Knight and Ryan Bingham. Praised by NPR for his “cinematic country-folk that’s as gorgeous and ruggedly raw as his homeland,” and dubbed “a rock ‘n’ roll John Denver” by Rolling Stone, Godwin is currently on tour in support of his 2023 album, “Family Ties.”
