K-ZAP at Carmichael Concerts In The Park: Hipper Than Hip Live! Saturday, May 24th 

Join us for an unforgettable evening of music and fun at the Carmichael Concerts In The Park series! On Saturday, May 24th, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Daniel Bishop Memorial Pavilion in Carmichael Park will come alive with the sensational sounds of Hipper Than Hip, a dynamic dance band celebrated for their incredible horn section and electrifying performances.

Hipper Than Hip brings the groove with crowd-pleasing covers of classic hits from iconic horn-based bands like Earth Wind and Fire, Tower of Power, Chicago, Kool and the Gang, Stevie Wonder, and Sly and the Family Stone, alongside modern favorites from artists like Bruno Mars. Known for their high-energy shows, this band is on a mission to get you up on your feet—dancing, singing, and soaking in the good vibes all night long!

While you’re enjoying the music, swing by the K-ZAP Emporium of Swag to grab some classic and new K-ZAP shirts and hats. We’ll also be collecting signatures for our ZAP THE GAP campaign to support local radio—your support keeps the music alive and thriving!
