An all-star line-up for Sunday, June 1 ! A Sacramento Blues Society Hall of Fame (HOF) annual fundraiser honoring Sacramento’s memorable blues mentor, Johnny “Guitar” Knox. Knox was inducted into the SBS HOF in 2010 and passed away in 2016 after long battles with health problems.
The SBS celebrates the spirit and legacy of Johnny “Guitar” Knox, who taught so many Sacramentans about the blues. Musicians are donating their time to honor their teacher.
This is the sixth annual fundraising event, and is in support of the upcoming September 28 th SBS Hall of Fame event.
The vibe and A/C are cool, and the music will be hot.
With Host and Emcee member Dave Segal , (soon to be induced in to the SBS HOF this coming September) and HOF members Angel Reyes, Ray “Catfish” Copeland, Aaron Moreno, “Ratatat” Pat Balcom, Liz Peel PLUS Dave Croall, and Marilyn Woods.
