“Four islanders makin’ tunes…”  and in their short two+ year existance as a band, 94 videos.

With time to kill and an attic to jam in, Arcy Drive, a group of four good buds from Northport(LI), New York began forming their scratchy but spirited sound. Starting as four friends who jammed for fun in a ratty old shed on a street named Arcy Drive, the band’s biggest goal was to play their local dive bar, Gunther’s. Now garnering 3 million likes on TikTok and 150,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, it’s safe to say they’ve exceeded their own expectations.

This success began when the band released live videos of five tracks off their debut album, “Attic Sessions,” one year prior to the album’s official release, giving fans an inside view of the attic where these originals were created and recorded. While this was an unconventional decision, the group was eager to share the “raw” passion of their live performance, which they view as the defining quality of their sound. Traveling in a 1989 Toyota van, they shared their music locally which they coined “Attic-Rock.” After a summer in their hometown and newfound passion of playing live, the four renovated an old school bus and began touring the US before their first official release. Many dive bars and music halls later, their “Barefoot Tour” landed the band a new cult following.

In March of 2023, the band launched their fully SOLD-OUT headline run — The Stattic Tour. This included a sold-out show at Bowery Ballroom in NYC and across the US, selling out LA, DC, Nashville, CHI, ATL, PHX and Philly. Part Two of The Stattic Tour found the band getting back on the road, including stops at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and City Gates’ Festivals. Around the same time the band began releasing singles like the hi-wire garage rocker “Wicked Styley” & buoyant indie folk jam of “Time Shrinks,” both from their new project the Beach Plum EP.

We like the new November 2024 single “Under the Rug.” Note that right underneath the VHS player are D.A. Pennebaker’s 1967 iconic documentary about Bob Dylan’s 1965 tour of England, “Don’t Look Back,” … and “Flashdance.” Southwest Airlines already has them on their playlist!
