Music legend Eric Clapton has reunited with famed producer Glyn Johns for his 23rd studio album I Still Do, set for release on May 20, 2016 on his Bushbranch Records/Surfdog Records. Clapton and Johns who has also produced albums for The Eagles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and The Who most famously worked together on Clapton’s iconic Slowhand album. That record is RIAA-certified 3x-platinum and topped the international charts.

The 12-track record includes some original songs written by Clapton. This album follows his last release, the 2014 chart-topping Eric Clapton & Friends: The Breeze, An Appreciation of JJ Cale.

Eric Clapton and B.B. King’s 2000 collaborative album Riding With the King will be reissued for its 20th anniversary with two previously unreleased tracks on June 26th, 2020 via Reprise Records.

One of those rarities was shared along with the album announcement, a rendition of the blues standard, “Rollin’ and Tumblin’.” The song was arguably made most famous by Muddy Waters in 1950, although it’s been interpreted by an array of artists, including Clapton and his band Cream on their 1966 debut, Fresh Cream. The version Clapton recorded with King decades later finds the pair sharing vocal duties just as a swampy dobro and a delicate electric guitar effortlessly swap licks.

The other unreleased track on the 20th-anniversary edition of Riding With the King will be a cover of Willie Dixon’s “Let Me Love You Baby.” Both songs were recorded during the original album sessions, while original producer Simon Climie returned to produce and mix the tracks for this release.

Eric Clapton’s 1991 live album 24 Nights will be reissued June 23, 2023 as The Definitive 24 Nights, two massively expanded super deluxe box sets.

Clapton’s groundbreaking run of 24 concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall were some of the most ambitious shows of his career. Each night featured him performing a career-spanning set with one of three lineups – a rock band, a blues band, or an orchestra conducted by Michael Kamen.

Clapton surrounded himself with superlative musicians for these concerts. The roster includes the likes of Johnnie Johnson, Jimmie Vaughan, Chuck Leavell, Phil Collins, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, Nathan East, Greg Phillinganes, Steve Ferrone, Ray Cooper and Jerry Portnoy.
