Twenty years ago, Lori Martin faced breast cancer and won her battle. Today, at 64, she is facing it again—while raising her two grandchildren and continuing to be the strong, loving woman she has always been.
Join us on October 18 for a benefit filled with music, love, and community.
We're coming together to help ease the financial burden of treatment and everyday expenses and to remind Lori that she is not alone in this fight.
Mylar & Friends (Ratatat Pat, Glenn Hair, Robert Fries, & ???) will be performing a set at the Lifting Up Lori benefit on Sunday, October 18, at the Torch Club.
The event includes five other bands and begins at 2 p.m. This is a fundraiser to help good friend and music lover Lori Martin with expenses associated with her cancer treatments. The Torch will be asking for a $25 donation at the door. There will be food and raffle prizes, too.
In addition to M&F (5–5:45 p.m.), bands include the PJ's, Clerical Estate, Rooster, guitar greats Lew Fratis & Jimmy Pailer, and the highly popular Mercy Me.
