Post-punk legends The Psychedelic Furs bring four decades of iconic sound to Quarry Park Amphitheatre! Led by the unmistakable voice of Richard Butler and his brother Tim on bass, the band emerged from the late-70s London punk scene and helped shape the new wave and alternative rock eras with their signature mix of brooding intensity, swirling sax, and melodic hooks.
Hits like “Love My Way,” “Ghost in You,” “Heaven,” and the John Hughes classic “Pretty in Pink” (from the movie of the same name) defined a generation and continue to resonate today. The Furs have remained creatively vital, releasing new music (including the acclaimed 2020 album Made of Rain) while delivering powerful live performances that honor their rich catalog.
Joining them are special guests We Are Scientists — the energetic indie-rock duo known for their clever lyrics, catchy hooks, and high-energy shows.
