Stanley Simmons, the duo featuring Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons (sons of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS), have released their debut album, Dancing While the World Is Ending. The album’s release was October 2nd.
The new outfit previewed the album with a series of singles, including “Body Down,” “Cellophane,” and the title track.
Unlike the hard rock of their dads’ famous band, Stanley Simmons’ musical vibe is more in the folk-rock vein, with hints of Simon & Garfunkel and ’60s psychedelia.
They've previewed the album with four singles so far: the folky acoustic numbers "Body Down" and "Temporary Love," the psych-rock stomper "Cellophane" and the bouncy, garage rock-flavored title track.
