Bay Area hard rock legends Y&T bring their high-octane Halloween Bash to Quarry Park Amphitheatre! Formed in Oakland in 1974 as Yesterday & Today, the band—led by founder and frontman Dave Meniketti—has delivered decades of powerful guitars, soaring vocals, and anthemic choruses that helped define American hard rock and heavy metal. With classics like "Mean Streak," "Summertime Girls," "Rescue Me," and "Forever," Y&T built a fiercely loyal following through relentless touring and raw, energetic live shows that still pack a punch today.
Y&T has a deep connection to K-ZAP going back decades. The band was a staple on the original KZAP in the late 70s and 80s, rocking Sacramento audiences at legendary shows including the 1983 Cal Expo concert with Sammy Hagar and Stevie Ray Vaughan, as well as multiple appearances at Cal Expo and the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium alongside acts like Dio, Whitesnake, and Night Ranger.
